David Arquette, Courteney Cox and Coco Reunite for Disney World Trip

Nothing like a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth to soothe those marital woes. At least temporarily.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox (technically still married but separated) hit the Orlando theme park with their 6-year-old daughter, Coco, where they carried on like a happy family, snapping grainy pics and smiling with Mickey and friends. The trio's trip comes just days after Cox and Coco were photographed cavorting in St. Bart's with her Cougar Town lover and, per Cox's rep, "strictly platonic" pal, Josh Hopkins.

Naturally, David took to Twitter to document the family vacation...

"Disney World really is the most magical place on earth," he tweeted along with a pic of the threesome.
He also posted a pic of him wearing a pirates hat and showed off a T-shirt informing everyone he was born in 1971, the same year as the theme park.
Last night, however, he was back to goofy mode, tweeting a pic of him wearing sunglasses and crooked and colorful mouse ears over a hoodie, with the caption "Goodtimes."

Is 30 Rocks Ending Next Year ?

Alec Baldwin can stop threatening to quit showbiz now. Because apparently, Tina Fey beat him to the punch.

The Emmy-collecting actor revealed last night that 30 Rock will enter its final season this fall, and will end its award-capturing run in 2012.

That's right, in just 12 months' time, Jack Donaghy, Liz Lemon and the TGS gang is heading to that big syndication in the sky. Er, right?

"I will tell you one thing," he told New York magazine apropos of nothing at the National Dance Institute's annual fundraising gala.

"And that is our show next year is our last years of the show. Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina is gonna have a big career directing films and writing. She's going to be the next Elaine May. She'll be great."

No doubt, but Fey's people aren't commenting, and neither is NBC, though the network may be just as surprised by Baldwin's announcement as his fans—a network source tells E! News that no conversations have been had about the series ending and that "Alec was just being Alec."

Let's hope so. First Steve Carell leaves The Office, now this. Don't go getting any ideas, Joel McHale.

Matt Lauer Next in Line to Leave Today?

What's with the mass exodus at the Today show?

A day after word got out that Meredith Vieira will in all likelihood leave NBC's top-rated morning show when her contract expires in September, here comes the news that Today stalwart Matt Lauer plans to leave when his deal ends.

Don't start crying into your morning coffee just yet, however…

Lauer's contract doesn't expire until Dec. 31, 2012, so it's not exactly like he's here Today, gone tomorrow.

As it did with the Vieira speculation, NBC isn't batting an eye (in public, anyway).

"There seems to be an awful lot of speculation around news anchors these days, and it's not our practice to comment on any of it," a network rep tells E! News. "Matt Lauer has a long-term contract with NBC News and Today."

Lauer, who joined Today as a news anchor in 1994 and became Katie Couric's coanchor in 1997, also appears on Dateline NBC. Couric left in 2006 to head up the CBS Evening News and she is also reconsidering her options now that her contract is expiring this year.

Are you thinking what we're thinking? Matt and Katie reunion?!

Well, no matter what happens, at least we know where in the world Matt Lauer will be until the end of next year.

Five Things We Learned About Notorious B.I.G.'s Murder From Newly Released FBI Files

The Notorious B.I.G. was undeniably big in life, and, if it's possible, even bigger in death.

A large part of that, of course, is due to the mystery and near-constant legal wranglings surrounding his 1997 slaying, though the curtain was pulled back on much of the secrecy this week as the FBI released its documents—spanning eight years—on the murder of Christopher Wallace.

So what did we learn from them?

MORE: Tupac Shakur gunned down at 25

1. They Tried to Connect the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie From the Get-Go: This particular rumor has never been short of conspiracy theories, with many believing the rappers' deaths were either part of a larger East Coast-West Coast feud, or even one brewing between Marion "Suge" Knight's label, Death Row Records, and Diddy's Bad Boy Entertainment.

The documents released by the FBI are heavily redacted, and many portions thus difficult to piece together, but Tupac's name is frequently invoked, while the late rapper's own slaying, criminal history and ties to unsavory behavior meticulously chronicled, as well as every instance, no matter how minute or fatal, of feuding between the two factions. It appears as though they were successful in locating people who were, for whatever reason, present at both shootings.

Further casting suspicion is the revelation that many of the LAPD officers on duty at the Peterson Automotive Museum music industry event from which Biggie was exiting when he was shot were notably also employed by Death Row Records as security officers (a violation, incidentally, of LAPD policy). Several others involved—though it's unclear if they were police, due to the redactions—have never even been questioned in the case. The LAPD has also never managed to match the ammunition found. (It's worth noting at this point, however, that a federal judge dismissed a wrongful death suit filed by the rapper's family against the city of Los Angeles last year.)

2. Official Version of His Death: As Biggie was exiting the museum on the night of March 9, he made his way into the passenger seat of the middle car of a three-car caravan. A Chevy SS Impala pulled up next to him and several shots were fired through the window. The rapper was pronounced dead just minutes later, when he arrived at a nearby hospital.

3. He Was Killed With Rare Ammunition: According to the documents, which cite an agent and ammunition expert, the bullets that struck Biggie dead were "very rare" Gecko 9mm ammunition, which happen to only be manufactured in Germany. There are only two distributors of the bullets in the whole of the U.S., one of which is in California, and the other of which is in New Jersey. It seems as though FBI were attempting to compare the bullets to those found at a bank robbery that might have ties to the shooting, though it's unclear if that ever took place.

4. Biggie's Pockets Were Pretty Full the Night of His Death: Among other documents released was the property report. In addition to the usual listings—a Georgia driver's license, a pen, his clothes—Biggie was also carrying .91 grams of marijuana, miscellaneous papers, an asthma inhaler and three condoms.

5. He Had Ties to Organized Crime: The FBI investigation uncovered that the rapper had connections with the Genovese crime family in New York, and that investigators believed that the family might have video or other surveillance that could contain photographs of people they believed to be involved in the shooting.

Megadeth Working On New Album

Dave Ellefson has spoken out about the direction you can expect in the follow-up to 2009’s incredible, ‘Endgame’.

Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson has confirmed that the band are currently writing material for a brand new album.

“We are working on it now so it’s a bit early to encapsulate what the final will ultimately sound like, Ellefson told UGO. “I think we know the punch and impact we want it to have but also not be afraid to let new ideas develop, too. Just know it will be heavy, hooky, and have the trademarks you’d come to expect from us.”

“I know the business side want to lock in schedules for release but sometimes you can’t contain a creative process AND a schedule. For us, the scheduling is second to making a great record. It will be done when it’s done.”
